A24 Music has announced a new compilation entitled Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense. The self-explanatory collection comes on the heels of the 40th anniversary of the concerts captured in Jonathan Demme’s iconic 1984 film and its recent re-release courtesy of the indie producer/distributor. The first single, Paramore’s cover of “Burning Down the House,” is a predictably high-energy pop-punk spin on the classic track.
Everyone’s Getting Involved additionally features BADBADNOTGOOD, Blondshell, Chicano Batman (with Money Mark), girl in red, Jean Dawson, Kevin Abstract, The Linda Lindas, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, The National, Teezo Touchdown, Toro y Moi, and more. Check out the first single below.
