That sound you hear is alt-country fans across the nation opening their closets and dusting off their Stetsons because Kacey Musgraves is back, baby! The favorite country artist of people who say, “I listen to all kinds of music except country” will be sharing Deeper Well on March 15 via Interscope Records. The project follows her 2021 album star-crossed. To celebrate the news, Musgraves has released a video for the project’s title track.

The album was, according to a press release, inspired by the energy of New York City’s Greenwich Village and its rich musical history. Musgraves recorded a portion of the album at the Electric Lady studios. “I was seeking some different environmental energy, and Electric Lady has the best mojo. Great ghosts,” noted Musgraves. Kacey going Inside Llewyn Davis on us? I am all the way in.

Check out the title track below, and pre-order Deep Well here.
