Back in October of last year, Minneapolis indie pop-rock types Yam Haus released Stupid and Famous, their first EP as a trio. Now, half a year later, they’re putting out a video of themselves performing the EP in full (though not in order) at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall. The EP’s seven songs were interspersed throughout the setlist the band—set up as a four-piece that night—performed there on November 18.

This video bring those songs to life in only the kind of way live performance can, whether that’s the bristling, exuberant energy of EP (and set) opener “So Long” or the more melancholy, vulnerable, and despondent strains of “Can’t See Anything” and “Little Contradictions”—both of which shimmer with a nervous, hesitant beauty. Despite the vast number of live albums and videos out there, it’s hard for the vibrant atmosphere of a performance to be captured on film, but Live at Lincoln Hall does just that.

And while most live albums or videos are made for the already-converted, this also doubles up as an enticing introduction to the band, their songs, and their personalities. Watch the video of the performance in full below.
