LCD Soundsystem—that band that retired and then came back and if I’m not mistaken retired another time and then came back again, much to the delight of AmEx cardholders—have announced an LA-only mini-tour for this fall, with seven dates planned between the Shrine Expo Hall and Hollywood Palladium (all credit cards are welcome, as far as we know). Kicking off on Halloween, the run of shows at the former venue will take place until November 3, while the sets at the latter will take place from November 7 – 10.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale next Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. PT, though you can register for pre-sale ASAP. Unless you carry American Express, in which case you can buy tickets as early as June 4 (I started writing that as a joke but it actually appears to be true—you’ve got the weekend to get approved for a Platinum card).
