Toro y Moi has shared two new singles from his forthcoming album, Hole Erth: the Ben Gibbard–featuring “Hollywood” and “CD-R.” On the former, the artist born Chazwick Bundick (but known as Chaz Bear) cooks up a melodic bassline before delivering a hooky vocal about no one calling him by his real name (which, again, isn’t Toro Y. Moi) before a psychedelic breakdown and a dialtone interrupt the laidback vibes. On “CD-R,” Toro leans into his electronic roots, nodding to his early days as a chillwave forebear with bouncy bleeps and buoyant bloops.

Hole Erth will be released on September 6 via Dead Oceans, and is available for pre-order here. Check out both cuts below.
