For those fortunate enough to find their way there, the Toyota Music Den offers a haven within the music festival grounds, a place where you can witness some of your favorite musicians from the bigger stages perform bonus sets in an intimate setting, partake in unique photo ops, and pick up free festival gear. Over the last decade, the Music Den has made its mark at fests across the country—from Lollapalooza and Firefly to Outside Lands and Life Is Beautiful—with artists including Dua Lipa, Glass Animals, SOFI TUKKER, Caroline Polachek, Louis the Child, and MUNA performing there prior to graduating to headliner status.
This year at Lolla, 20 artists spanning multiple genres graced the Music Den stage—from buzzing indie outfits Friko, Been Stellar, and Brigitte Calls Me Baby, to burgeoning pop stars Mckenna Grace and Blu DeTiger, to folk outfits The National Parks and Tiny Habits.
FLOOD photographer Mallory Turner camped out for each day of Lolla at the Music Den, capturing pics of all of the performances, while fans picked up commemorative festival bandanas as well as customized camp-themed socks and keychains, and posed for the “Happy Camper” photo-op.
