LA beat scene veteran turned electronic music sensation TOKiMONSTA has recruited Anderson .Paak and Rae Khalil for “On Sum,” the perfect wind down as summer hopefully dissipates into fall. Khalil handles the intro on the latest cut from TOKiMONSTA’s forthcoming record Eternal Reverie, singing: “I don’t hardly drink too much, I go off and think too much.” Later, .Paak rolls through to bring forth the joyous vibes.
Regarding the track, TOKiMONSTA said: “I’m excited to drop this brand new collab with Anderson .Paak, marking 10 years since our first song, ‘Realla.’ Having Rae Khalil on the track is the cherry on top—music just hits different when you’re making it with friends.”
The touching love story that takes place at a laundromat in the track’s accompanying music video will have you not dreading your next laundry run. Check out the joyous visual below, and pre-order TOKiMONSTA’s Eternal Reverie here.
