Over a decade after they took an extended hiatus, Brazilian synth-pop stars CSS returned this year to celebrate their 20th anniversary, embarking on their expansive “It’s Been a Number of Years“ tour across North America, the UK, and Europe—including stops at Just Like Heaven festival and Kilby Block Party. Their triumphant return is now winding down, with a final live date in the US set for January 19 at The Regent in Los Angeles, before heading to Japan for two more shows. This will most likely be their last US appearance “for a long while,” according to the band, and FLOOD is beyond thrilled to be onboard to present this show.

Since forming in São Paulo in 2003, their powerful live sets have been an integral part of the CSS experience—so it seemed appropriate to celebrate this milestone by taking their live show around the world directly to their fans, both old and new. “The fact that we are still resonating is surprising to me,” revealed lead singer Lovefoxxx. “It shows that we truly touched a generation. We were never meant to be role models or inspire. We just wanted to enjoy ourselves. There’s immense power in it. What keeps us together as friends and probably helped convince us to reunite as a band is our humor. We laugh at the same stuff. We have our own language. The band wanted to do this journey one more time, and a 20th anniversary tour seemed like the best place to begin.”
