In case you missed the festivities last weekend in San Francisco, we captured a good chunk of the action at Portola 2024 in photos, with FLOOD photographer Wilson Lee taking in the third year of the Bay Area’s tastefully curated dance-centric music festival. Once again hosted at Pier 80 on the waterfront, this year’s lineup featured a diverse schedule stacked with progressive electronic music titans (Justice, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Disclosure) and dance-friendly fringe artists across genres (JPEGMAFIA, Peaches, Jessie Ware)—in addition to the return of hometown heroes Deltron 3030 and the spectacle that is horsegiirL.

While we may have missed one of the weekend’s highlights—an energetic live set from German producer Ben Böhmer—we were fortunate enough to have the musician document the event himself through photos taken before, during, and after his Sunday afternoon set. With guest appearances from friends, fans, and fellow performers alike (keep an eye out for Barry Can’t Swim), check out his Backstage Camera Roll shot by Gaurang Alat below, and listen to his new album Bloom here.
