A while ago, the boisterous LA-based indie-rockers Cold War Kids stopped by the FLOOD Gallery to offer stripped-down versions of songs from their latest LP Hold My Home.
Below, frontman Nathan Willett and pianist Matthew Schwartz deliver a solid, heartfelt take on the album highlight “Drive Desperate” for a lucky crowd of friends and family. By the time the pair repeats the song’s ending mantra of “We are not alone / On this road,” you can feel the passion within each shout.
