As their sound develops beyond the house-tinged synthpop of their 2021 debut album Found in the Wild, Eli & Fur continue to nail the balance between ethereal club music and downcast art-pop, with the duo’s floating vocals bringing Lana Del Rey to mind. Dreamscapes, then, is their newly released proof of that evolution, with the LP’s 15 tracks evocatively capturing the span of time between the club closing and your head hitting the pillow at the end of an exciting night out.

And while we’ve yet to see any extensive tour plans for the new release, Eli & Fur already broke these new songs in at LA’s Fonda Theater last weekend. Additionally, they’ll be taking the stage in NYC tonight at Music Hall of Williamsburg ahead of a third and final release show in London next month. But in the meantime, the duo is sharing a playlist comprising their influences on the new record, which features tracks ranging from Dutch deep-house music to the bedroom-pop of Arlo Parks. Even Lana’s Lust for Life era gets a shoutout, with the duo citing the songwriter as a “huge inspiration” on their music.

Check out the full playlist below, and find tickets to their upcoming release shows here.

TÂCHES, “Disappear”
Fur: I made this with my flatmate. It’s just a fun little vibe. We recorded the church bells next to where my parents live and put them in the breakdown. It kind of captures the moment of where we were at the time.

Slowaves, “Moss’s Ballroom Vogue”
Fur: Been playing this one in my car recently. There are so many songs which sound particularly good while driving, and this is one of them.

ANOTR, “24 (Turn It Up)”
Eli: Absolutely love what the ANOTR guys are doing. They’ve carved their own path and don’t sound like anyone else.

Bedroom, “Litany”
Eli: This song is so nostalgic and reminds me of being 16. It’s got this UK vibe which makes us miss home.

Dylan LeBlanc, “Cautionary Tale”
Eli: Have had this one on repeat recently—has a timeless and beautiful feel as well as telling a story.

Eli & Fur, “My Reflection”
Eli: One of our favorites from our album. If someone was to ask what track we feel really defines us as artists, this would be one of them.

Two Lanes, “Feel”
Eli: Any artists that can make electronic music that has emotion like this, we love. We’ve been watching Two Lanes for a while—they’re very special.

Lana Del Rey, “White Mustang”
Eli: One of our favorite Lana tracks. She’s a huge inspiration to us.

Arlo Parks, “Caroline”
Eli: This song is all about the lyrics. It’s a beautiful song, but when you really listen to the story behind it, it gets you deep.

Eli & Fur, “Where I Find My Mind”
Eli: An older one of our own tracks. We wrote it about the history of LA, the golden age of Hollywood, and Laurel Canyon.
