We’re less than 24 hours removed from the release of Ece Era’s debut album, but as one final teaser, the Brussels-by-way-of-Turkey electronic producer is sharing a final pre-album single in the form of the melancholy ambient-techno cut “Another One.” As the track’s somber tone and minimalist trance beat build upon the prior singles from Bedside Tunes, the artist’s self-directed music video for the track helps to build the project’s visual world with a series of black-and-white images that occasionally bring Andrei Tarkovsky’s early films to mind.

“The music video, like a visual self-portrait, was self-shot in Turkey and captures the essence of isolation and reflection in an abandoned house with views of flamingos,” Ece Era shares, noting that the clip was shot with both a DSLR camera and a small camcorder. “The setting complements the song’s exploration of life, aging, and the inevitable passage of time. The camera moves through spaces with crumbling walls, where life once thrived, juxtaposing them with peaceful flamingos to symbolize the delicate balance between life’s struggles and its quiet beauty.”
