Nashville-via-North-Carolina’s Rainbow Kitten Surprise returned over the summer with their fourth album, Love Hate Music Box, which they’ve been on the road supporting across the US since September. Over the past decade, the group has evolved from stomp-and-holler indie-folk into their current era’s broader yet more individualistic art-pop sound, with this latest release best exhibiting their melodic strengths.

As their tour finally begins to wind down with a set of West Coast dates with Madi Diaz, the band’s lead vocalist/keyboardist Ela Melo and guitarists Bozzy Keller and Ethan Goodpaster all took the time to record an episode of “Hacked” for FLOOD FM, wherein they spin everything from Modest Mouse and Band of Horses to Skrillex and Flume to Corinne Bailey Rae and Amy Winehouse. Catch the episode every day this week (November 18 – 22) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PST only on FLOOD FM. You can also find tickets for their remaining tour dates here.
