Female pop stars ruled supreme in 2024, with Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter taking over the charts and cultural landscape throughout the year.

But women across the musical spectrum also dominated in 2024, from the breakout years of FLOOD cover stars The Last Dinner Party and Mannequin Pussy to the likes of St. Vincent, Clairo, Laufey, Doechii, PJ Harvey, Ethel Cain, Julien Baker, Olivia Rodrigo, Maggie Rogers, Suki Waterhouse, Reneé Rapp, The Marias, and Lana Del Rey slaying at live events around the world.

FLOOD photographers were everywhere this year, documenting riveting performances from all of the artists listed above, and even a few guys along the way. We were continually amazed by the incredible images captured by our contributors throughout 2024, as we lived vicariously through their lenses at music festivals, arenas and clubs across the globe.
