Much in the same way there’s never been another artist quite like Brian Eno, there’s never been another documentary quite like Eno. And while its subject’s own unique ideas might be part of the reason for that, it’s the film’s regenerative nature that makes it so special—in essence, it’s quite literally a different movie every time you watch it.
While the film has already been crowned one of our favorite music docs of 2024, the fact that it’s technically a “new” film in perpetuity means that it’s far from past its release cycle. On January 24, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its Sundance debut, Film First and filmmaker Gary Hustwit will present 24 Hours of Eno, a special day-long event that includes numerous (different, obviously) screenings of the film as well as Q&As featuring members of the film’s crew, along with the promise of other special guests. Limited tickets are on sale now for $24, and the screening is available to viewers across the globe.
