Sparks, brothers Ron and Russell Mael (but you already knew that), have released a new single, “Do Things My Own Way.” The track is the first taste of the band’s forthcoming 28th (!) studio album, MAD!, due later this year. On the song (which is decidedly not a Frank Sinatra cover), the duo sing over metallic percussion and pulsing basslines, noting that they’ll be doing things their own way. So far, so good. If it ain’t broke, etc.

Sparks will also be returning to the road in June, hitting Japan, Europe, and the UK over the summer. Check out those dates here, and listen to “Do Things My Own Way” below.
