Welsh pop star MARINA—who many know by her former name, Marina and the Diamonds—has returned with her first new single since 2022. “Butterfly” kicks off a new era for MARINA, who reportedly has more music on the way. Until then, we have “Butterfly,” a chamber-pop cut that slowly morphs into an after-hours dancefloor anthem when MARINA moves from discussing the way she’s been hurt to the “butterfly” she’s evolved into.
MARINA is also gearing up for a number of festival appearances, including Coachella, World Pride Music Festival, Governors Ball, and Bonnaroo, among others. Check out the video for “Butterfly” below.
