Dawes, Moby, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, and more have teamed up with Musicians for Fire Relief for a global livestream and auction to take place on March 6 to support the Los Angeles music community. In partnership with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, the event will raise money for those affected by the recent wildfires, providing grants for housing, medical bills, groceries, and essentials.

“Our community is built on collaboration, and we were luckily able to crowdsource some amazing professionals to help,” said Shelly Hartman, co-producer. “Seeing the devastation, I knew we had to rally together all our friends to produce a special event, a love letter to LA—celebrating its legacy and music while supporting those who have lost everything.”

Hosted by Nic Harcourt, with interviews by Steve Baltin and FLOOD contributor Lyndsey Parker, the night will feature LA artists and iconic songs inspired by the city. Additional artists set to appear include Goose, Pete Yorn, Butch Walker, Margaret Cho, Semisonic’s Dan Wilson, Travis’ Fran Healy, Nathan East, Chris Pierce, Ozomatli’s Asdru Sierra, and Lol Tolhurst.

Fans can bid on items like autographed vinyl from “Weird Al” Yankovic and Remo drum heads signed by R&B session player James Gadson. Visit the Musicians for Fire Relief website for a full list of auction items and to RSVP. The event is scheduled for March 6 at 5 p.m. PT.
