GRAMMY winner Doechii has shared a new version of fan-favorite single “Anxiety,” a song she originally recorded in her bedroom for her 2019 self-released mixtape, Coven Music Sessions. “Anxiety” never had an official release on DSPs, so Doechii decided to re-record her vocals and release the song as another victory of lap of sorts following 2024’s Alligator Bites Never Heal and its subsequent Best Rap Album win.

The song, which features a sample of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” sees the TDE rapper reflecting on her relationship with anxiety. She raps during the chorus: “Anxiety / Keep on trying me / I feel it quietly / Tryna silence me.”
