NYC’s duendita has announced that their latest project, A Strong Desire to Survive, will be released on April 4 via MIKE’s 10k. Ahead of the 10-track release, lead single “Baby Teeth” sees duendita coasting across a delightful and peaceful piano line, showcasing a powerful vocal delivery that displays serious dynamism and range. The end of the song features a sample of nine vocalists singing as a choir, all of whom were recorded in duendita’s bedroom.
Speaking about the song, duendita said: “‘Baby Teeth’ celebrates the joy of healing from the darkest experiences. It’s a piano vocal banger about feeling safe and strong.”
