St. Vincent has linked up with A24 Music on a new single called “DOA,” which was made exclusively for the upcoming film Death of a Unicorn (in case you were wondering what “DOA” stands for), starring Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant, and directed by Alex Scharfman. Written, recorded, and performed entirely by St. Vincent and mixed by Cian Riordan, the track will be available across digital platforms simultaneously with the film’s March 28 theatrical release.
Last we heard from St. Vincent was back in January during the FireAid benefit concerts at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Los Angeles when the surviving members of Nirvana crashed the stage at The Forum with Annie Clark on vocals to blaze through “Breed.” That was very cool, indeed.
