Gully Boys returned earlier this year with a vengeance, as their out-for-blood punk rager “Love Me 2” teased a sophomore album planned for later in 2025. The newfound confidence heard on the single was surely aided by some impressive gigs they’ve landed since launching their debut record in 2018—namely opening slots for Motion City Soundtrack (whose frontman Justin Courtney Pierre cameos in the new single’s video) and, later this month, The Used.
The single also preceded a nearly month-long set of dates alongside fellow pop-punks Skating Polly, with those March shows mostly spanning the Midwest. While we anticipate Gully Boys’ next move, the band is giving us exclusive access to their lives on the road during this period via the photos of friend and photographer Juliet Farmer. Check those out (along with Farmer’s captions) below, and find tickets to all upcoming GB dates here.

Columbus, Ohio: Before leaving, the opening band’s lead singer gave us a box of pastries to take with us from the bakery they work at

Walmart parking lot, somewhere. It was all hands on deck to investigate why the van (nicknamed Mommy, FYI) could no longer muster up air conditioning. Solution: TBD.

Austin, TX: After a 90-degree day at SXSW and surviving the van’s broken AC, the block of food trucks felt like seeing the shoreline appear after a day lost at sea.
Green room in Kansas City, MO: We shared our green rooms with Skating Polly, and the combination of both bands’ vocal warmups became a comforting soundtrack while on tour.

Smallest green room on tour. Found in Nashville, TN. The lights made the stage super hot, and the band had to take a moment to cool down after their set.

Ames, Iowa: Natalie works on the set list.
Milwaukee, WI: Best green room on tour. Green room was upstairs from the venue and doubled as a place to stay. Our suitcases exploded across the wood-paneled living room as we made ourselves comfortable for the night.

Chicago, IL: A late night diner was a must after the show. There was a shared craving for milkshakes, but indecisiveness about flavors. After ordering two chocolate and two vanilla, we shared sips with each other while feasting on fries and pancakes.

Waffle House in Columbus, OH: Riah takes a moment to call their dad on his birthday.

St. Louis, MO: The green room was too small to host more than a couple people at a time. Thankfully, it was a sunny day—the parking lot became the new green room. The band chose their outfits for the night.

Tulsa, OK: Nat, Riah, and I popped into a violin repair shop, where the owner told us about his work.
Minneapolis, MN: Homecoming show. Nat and Kathy get ready to go on stage.
