We’ve heard a slew of exciting singles from Samia over the past few months, as the NYC-based songwriter continues to tease her third album, Bloodless. Most recently, we got a two-for-one deal, with “Hole in a Frame” and “Pants” dropping simultaneously so as to demonstrate the artist’s range on this new collection of 13 tracks—the latter seven-minute epic serving as the LP’s closer.
With the album finally dropping this Friday via Grand Jury, we asked Samia to take over the FLOOD FM airwaves all week with a new episode of “Hacked” spotlighting some of her favorite songwriters—which range from Mitski and Fiona Apple to Doechii and MAVI to Morphine’s Mark Sandman and Helvetia’s Jason Albertini.
