Jenny Lewis is gearing up to reunite with her bandmates in Rilo Kiley in just a couple of weeks at Just Like Heaven festival, but before that you can also see her make an appearance in Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted, a new documentary on the legendary cult musician. In this exclusive clip from the movie, Lewis was filmed during the recording of her guest feature on "Count the Days" from Swamp Dogg's most recent album, Blackgrass. Directed by Isaac Gale and Ryan Olson, the film documents the story of the 82-year-old country soul and R&B singer/songwriter, and the orbit of friends and superfans in his life, including Guitar Shorty, Moogstar, Mike Judge, Johnny Knoxville, John Prine, and others.

"Working with Jenny Lewis was a pure pleasure and I'm looking forward to working with her again." Swamp Dogg told us. "I really didn't have to ask her for too much because she had her own attitude and flavor. I've produced a lot of women and she is in my top five favorites."

Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted opens in Los Angeles on May 2 at the Nuart, in New York at the IFC Center on May 9, and additional cities beginning May 16. Check screenings and showtimes here, and watch the clip featuring Lewis below.
