Because nothing has to make sense in 2015, Susan Sarandon, the Academy Award-winning actress and activist, is opening a ping-pong-themed bar in San Francisco. SPiN, a small chain of ping-pong-themed bars and restaurants with locations in Toronto, Belgium, and New York (where, as Eater points out, Action Bronson was recently waxed in a game of table tennis by none other than Justin Bieber), will be located on the corner of Folsom and Third Streets. In addition to its two bars, its kitchen, and its private rooms, SPiN SF will also host sixteen ping-pong tables.
