If you’ve been to a Sleigh Bells show, we don’t have to tell you what an exhilarating live experience they deliver. Since forming in Brooklyn in 2008, the noise-pop duo has built a reputation for their high-energy performances, singer Alexis Krauss’ dynamic stage presence, and non-stop engagement with their fans throughout their sets.
FLOOD presented their return to Los Angeles last night at The Fonda (their first appearance here since a mid-day set at last year’s Just Like Heaven fest), and unsurprisingly it was a wild bombast of energy from beginning to end—including the opening set from Brooklyn’s buzzy “ctrl_alt+pop-rap” artist Sophie Hunter.
Take a look at photos of both artists from last night’s event shot by FLOOD photographer Skylar Watkins below, and revisit our recent interview with the duo on their new album Bunky Becky Birthday Boy here.
