After five seasons of sketch-comedy excellence, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele announced that their Comedy Central show Key & Peele will be coming to a close.

The duo reportedly decided to end it themselves, with Key telling The Wrap, “This is our final season—and it’s not because of Comedy Central, it’s us. It was just time for us to explore other things, together and apart. I compare it to Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. We might make a movie and then do our own thing for three years and then come back and do another movie.”

The comedic pair already have a couple films in the works, one of which is based on their show’s popular Mr. Garvey sketch, so it seems safe to say that their work together is far from over. After all, if you can work alongside the president, you can do pretty much anything.
