After releasing their debut single for Sub Pop, “Inept Apollo,” back in May, synthpop trio Nation of Language formally announced that their fourth album, Dance Called Memory, would be arriving September 19 via their new label home. The Brooklyn-based project has steadily been amassing a fanbase since first breaking out in 2020 with the self-release of their full-length debut Introduction, Presence, a compelling balance of new wave and post-punk they’ve been honing ever since.

In the lead up to the new record’s release, the band is taking over FLOOD FM all week for a new episode of “Hacked” where they’re spinning some favorite tunes by peers such as Water From Your Eyes, Dean Blunt, Dari Bay, and their fellow recent Sub Pop signee Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio. For the full episode, tune in every day this week (July 7 – 11) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT only on FLOOD FM.
