Lil Yachty has been busy over the past two weeks traveling across North American as support for Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia stadium tour, with four NYC dates planned for next week at Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center. Ahead of this set of shows the rapper released the one-off single “Murda,” and today he’s following that up with another loosie titled “Won’t Diss You.”
As the title suggests, Yachty is once again zagging after last summer was defined by at least one major rap beef resulting in memorable diss tracks, for better or for worse. At just two and a half minutes, it’s a breezy listen pairing a trap beat and cloud-rap flow with affectionate lyrics. Meanwhile, the stylized music video makes it clear that the Boat Man was a good fit for Tyler’s bill. Check it out below.
