Back in April, San Diego rockers Pleasure Pill teased their debut album Hang a Star with us via the release of the pre-album single “My Way to You,” which the band described as one of their most straightforward showcases of their influences. And while they didn’t explicitly list those influences, it’s clear that Oasis helped to shape Jonah Paz’s vocal style, while his backing band feels more closely aligned with the psychedelic space-rock movement that simultaneously rocked the ’90s.

With that debut album out now, the band took to nearby Coronado, California—a peninsular resort city on San Diego Bay—to perform the aforementioned “My Way to You” and an additional album cut, “Wonder How,” for an acoustic “Neighborhoods” set. “Bay View Park overlooks the skyline of downtown San Diego and is a place for people to simply come and take in the view,” the band shares, introducing the visual’s scenic backdrop. “[On the] day of shooting we had about 10 or so people stop and watch us play while taking in this great view of our great city.”
