After taking some time off to focus on writing and composing for other artists (among them, significantly, Beyoncé), Sabrina Claudio returned in June with her first album in two and a half years. A balance of intimate bedroom pop and smooth soul befitting a stadium audience, the documentation of a healing journey that is Fall in Love with Her led to Claudio actually filling arena venues on its subsequent tour, which rolled through LA last week.
The sold-out evening at Inglewood’s Intuit Arena proved to be a memorable night for the artist, with friends and family joining Claudio backstage before and after her set. Opening for Russ (alongside Big Sean) on the rapper’s “Into the Wild” tour, the photo diary Claudio shares with us feels like a homecoming show, with plenty of heartfelt shoutouts to family members, her team, and her backing band.
