Nine Inch Nails have shared the official music video for their single “As Alive As You Need Me to Be,” which was originally released back in July. Directed by Maxime Quoilin, the visual can only be described as what I would call “NIN-core”: the colors are black and white, the vibes are bleak, the tension is ratcheted up. The band teased the video last night after closing the first of two shows at Barclays Center in Brooklyn while attendees left the gig. The clip was also shown at nearby subway stations.
Nine Inch Nails’ soundtrack for the new (gritty?) TRON sequel, Ares, will be released on September 19 via Interscope Records. Check out the video for “As Alive As You Need Me to Be” below, and pre-order the soundtrack here.
