Returning to the States after gracing the FLOODfest stage earlier this year in Austin, Irish alt-rockers Cardinals are gearing up for a brief set of headlining dates across North America following a gig this weekend in Boston supporting The Pogues. Performing songs from last summer’s self-titled debut EP and more recent material (such as their latest single “Big Empty Heart” from this past June), the quintet continues to generate hype for their first full-length project.

Before they hit the West Coast this Sunday for a show in San Francisco and moving down the coast for a stop in LA on September 16, the band is taking over FLOOD FM all week for a new episode of “Hacked.” Featuring buzzy alt-rock favorites such as Just Mustard and Geese, as well as the avant-garde electronic sounds of artists like Arca and Burial, tune in any day this week (September 8 – 12) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., or 10 p.m. PT to catch the full show only on FLOOD FM. You can also find Cardinals’ full list of live dates here.
