In celebration of their FLOOD-sponsored headlining date at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, September 27, we’re thrilled to turn the FLOOD FM airwaves over to Big Thief this week for a special edition of “Hacked.” If you’ve followed the band at all over their illustrious career, it should come as no surprise that their playlist would be an eclectic mix. For their one-hour FLOOD FM special, guitarist Buck Meek dug deep in the crates for a selection of tunes spanning decades and genres, including obscure gems from Joseph Spence, Booker T. and the M.G.’s, Life Without Buildings, Fred Eaglesmith, and their Hollywood Bowl opener, Noname. To keep the playlist close to home, he also spins tracks by his brother Dylan Meek, as well as a collaboration with songwriter Lefty Parker.

Tune in any day this week (September 22 – 26) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., or 10 p.m. PT to catch the full show only on FLOOD FM, and make sure to score tickets to the Hollywood Bowl this weekend. Tickets are on sale now.
