This week, Hazlett is embarking on the Western half of his North American tour in support of his latest album, Last Night You Said You Missed Me. Coming off a brief run of dates with Vance Joy and a slot at All Things Go DC, the remaining shows throughout October will feature Hazlett in the spotlight as he takes audiences deeper into the intimate self-portrait he painted with his second LP. “This one’s a little different, which I know is cliché to say, but it’s true,” he shared upon the project’s release. “I think it would be easier to say after all these years that I’ve found my sound and that’s where I’ll stay. But I think there’s a lack of authenticity in staying the same. When I started this whole thing, I wanted anyone who starts to listen to feel like they’re part of this whole thing with me. Growing, trying, and finding pieces of ourselves along the way.”

Before embarking on his journey to the US, Hazlett filmed a “Neighborhoods” session in his adopted hometown of Stockholm, Sweden, where the Australian-born artist has settled, on the island of Södermalm. Set up in the doorway to BLNK Studios, where all of his music is recorded, the indie-folk figure performs a stirring solo rendition of the new album’s track “Tell Me Something.” Check it out below, and catch him on the remainder of his tour at the dates listed here.
