Returning to the Austin City Limits festival grounds after making her FLOOD debut in 2023 and returning last year, Ryder Cavazos—daughter of longtime FLOOD photographer Daniel Cavazos—once again took in all the styles and general atmosphere of ACL during the 2025 festival’s first weekend. Check out Ryder’s intro and photos below, and find our full live coverage of the event here.

Austin City Limits has always been something I look forward to. I went for the first time when I was three, and now I’m about to graduate high school and my love for it has only grown. I’m going to attend college in the following years, but I’m planning on returning to the fest to continue taking photos. I’m very excited for the coming years when I’ll finally be able to be in the photo pit.

Taking pictures brings me a lot of joy, as I get to capture the happy moments in people’s lives at one of my favorite places. I love to take pictures of the atmosphere because that’s when you get to see people’s creativity in their outfits and everyone’s high energy, whether they’re dancing or singing. Being in my senior year feels surreal, but I know I’ll be back and I know that next year will open a new door for me. I’m so excited to continue this journey in my life and can’t wait to see what the following years are going to bring. — Ryder Cavazos
