Rilo Kiley thrilled fans earlier this year with news of their reunion for Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena. That announcement was quickly followed up with word that Jenny Lewis and company would carry on after the fest for a series headlining dates throughout the year. “It’s going to be wonderful for us, like going back to the purest version of yourself, that early 20s place where everything is possible,” Lewis revealed at the time. “You’re in a van and Jason’s got the map, Pierre is behind the wheel, and I’m on the shitty acoustic guitar on the bench seat working out a new song with Blake. I don’t think it’s ever been as good as that, when it was just us against the world.”
The band’s reunion tour brought them back to LA this week for another hometown show, this time in the hills of Griffith Park at the iconic Greek Theatre.
