Deftones hosted and headlined their annual Dia De Los Deftones festival at Petco Park in San Diego over the weekend, with a great lineup including Clipse, Deafheaven, Rico Nasty, 2hollis, Regulo Caro, and more. While the music takes center stage, the festival has also become a true showcase to celebrate Día de los Muertos, with stunning outfits, sugar skulls, and face paint everywhere you look.
Deftones’ 21-song set to close out the night included the live debut of several tracks from their latest album, private music—“locked club,” “souvenir,” “cut hands,” and “i think about you all the time”—along with their first performance of “Street Carp” from White Pony in six years.
