“Destiny Arrives” is one of many very good songs on SPELLLING’s March 2025 LP Portrait of My Heart. Now? It’s also a very good new single co-starring Weyes Blood. Very cool. The new version is built around marching strings and synths that rumble and grumble like my belly before dinner. This updated rendition has a little more oomph around the low-end than the original, and it turns out these two wonderful songwriters and singers also make great music as a duo. Who would have guessed!
