With the leaves outside my window affirming that we’ve entered “big changes” season—new year, newly elected leaders, new driving hazards—now seems like the perfect time for London-based songwriter Elanor Moss to drop a new single that celebrates exactly that sense of pushing forward. “Again, My Love” is a minimalist ballad of hushed vocals, finger-picked guitar, and gentle backing strings as Moss recognizes the need for small losses in order to achieve major change. “I wrote it when I was really having a rough time,” she explains. “I was living a troubadour existence for the past couple of years, flitting between different places, and the uncertainty of that way of living was really getting to me. I think that one is a song for me, that I was trying to make a bit more universal.”
The song’s message could also apply to the fact that “Again, My Love” serves as her first single released through her new label, Merge Records, after self-releasing a pair of EPs dating back to 2022. It sounds like there’s more new music planned for 2026, but for now you can hear the new track below.
