Back in September, LA-based singer/rapper/producer St. Panther returned with their first new material in five years with the lead single and title track from their alt-R&B EP Strange World. “Since the last time I put out a project, our world has only gotten stranger, which has only made my work more intentional,” Dani Bojorges-Giraldo shared with us. “In this gap, I set out to write music about our world in the state it’s in now and imagine a future beyond it with some of my favorite people to talk about the world with.”

While the newly released EP was created with the assistance of a small slate of peers, Bojorges-Giraldo opted to go it alone for their “Neighborhoods” session filmed on a rooftop in East Hollywood overlooking the LA skyline. Performing the project’s closing track “Whoever Said Silence Is Peace,” St. Panther lays down the track’s bars with ease over its piano-heavy beat. Check it out below, and listen to the full EP here.
