It wasn’t easy, but Camp Flog Gnaw 2025 is in the books. Tyler, the Creator had to reschedule his annual music festival and carnival after a severe thunderstorm hit Southern California last week, but the sun was back—along with a few new additions to the lineup, notably including Geese, Kali Uchis, Blood Orange, and Fakemink—to take over the grounds at Dodger Stadium for two days.

The fest lost previously booked artists Clairo, Men I Trust, and Sombr, among others, with the date change, but there were more than enough memorable moments to make up for it. Some highlights include The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri appearing during Doecchi’s set, Tyler, the Creator joining Clipse for “P.O.V.” and GloRilla for “Sticky” (in addition to his Saturday evening performance), and Uchis filling in with a captivating day-one set to help ease the disappoint of those cancellations.

One of the biggest stories from the event emerged when Childish Gambino revealed on-stage the reason he was forced to cancel his tour last year: he suffered a stroke. “I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana and I did the show anyway. I couldn’t really see well, so when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, ‘You had a stroke,”” he told the audience. “They say everybody has two lives and the second life starts when you realize you have one. You got one life, guys, and I gotta be honest, the life I’ve lived with you guys has been such a blessing.” His 18-song, career-spanning headlining set was both reflective and invigorating, including standout performances of “Survive,” “Me and Your Mama,” “This Is America,” and a cover of OutKast’s “Prototype.”

All in all, the rescheduled Camp Flog Gnaw was a success, with even Rihanna being spotted making the rounds. Take a look at highlights captured for FLOOD by Wilson Lee below.
