Foo Fighters’ return to the historic Kia Forum in Inglewood, California last night was packed with storylines. It was Dave Grohl’s 57th birthday, it was their first show playing with Jason Falkner filling in for the injured Pat Smear, and it marked their first time retuning to the Forum since the emotional tribute show for Taylor Hawkins in 2022. But perhaps most importantly, this show helped raise crucial funds for local charities Hope the Mission and the Los Angeles Mission, organizations on the front lines providing food, shelter, and other services to those in need in our community.
The night was also a testament to Grohl and his band’s enduring legacy, as they held down the Forum stage for over two and a half hours, playing hits and deep cuts spanning their 30-plus years together on a revolving stage in the round (“I feel like I’m in the showroom at the Mercedes dealership in Van Nuys,” Grohl quipped at one point from the spinning stage). Take a look at some visual highlights from the night below captured by Andi K. Taylor.
