Courtney Barnett is back and as reliable as ever—at least as much is suggested by the title of her forthcoming album, Creature of Habit. The project’s second single following last October’s “Stay in Your Lane” features Waxahatchee. “I tried three separate times over two years to track this song, and each time it either wasn’t finished or didn’t sound right and each time we had to start again,” Barnett shared regarding their collaboration on “Site Unseen.” “I kept hearing this really high harmony in my head, so for the fourth and final version, I asked Katie if she’d be into singing it with me. I’m a big Waxahatchee fan. I really love Katie’s songwriting and her voice, so it was an honor to have her sing on ‘Site Unseen.’”

Barnett has also announced a North American tour beginning with a gig in Austin on May 1. Creature of Habit is out March 27. Pre-order it here, and listen to “Site Unseen” and check out those tour dates below.
