Shortly after President Donald Trump continued his escalation toward Greenland, the autonomous territory received a gift from an unexpected source: Neil Young, who you may know either as a successful musician or as an antagonist of this current administration. The songwriter announced that any resident of Greenland can now access his entire archive entirely free of charge.
In a letter addressed to “our Friends in Greenland,” Young gave the entire nation free access to NeilYoungArchives.com. “I would like to offer a free one-year subscription to all Greenland residents,” he wrote. “I hope my Music and Music Films will ease some of the unwarranted stress and threats you are experiencing from our unpopular and hopefully temporary government.”
