Beck has announced a new compilation of rarities entitled Everybody‘s Gotta Learn Sometime. The red vinyl edition of the project will be released on February 13 (the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone in your life), while the digital version is out now. Per a post from Beck, the release includes “a lovingly curated collection of rarities, deep cuts and cover versions which features never before released recordings of ‘Your Cheatin’ Heart’ and ‘True Love Will Find You in the End.’”
Additional tracks include a take on the classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” his 2012 cover of Brazilian composer Caetano Veloso’s ode to Antonioni, and Beck’s track from the Eternal Sunshine OST which lends the comp its title, which was initially recorded by The Korgis. Perhaps this collection won’t make for much of a romantic V-day gift.
