After witnessing the post-apocalyptic madness of Mad Max: Fury Road in theaters earlier this year, we couldn’t wait for a chance to step into the world ourselves.

Luckily, last week, audio pioneers DTS hosted “The World of Mad Max” in the FLOOD Gallery—an evening celebrating the release of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s awesome new Mad Max video game. Those in attendance got to play the groundbreaking game ahead of its release, and were completely immersed into the game’s world courtesy of the DTS Headphone:X technology.

Although the evening was themed after a desert wasteland, there was certainly no shortage of excellent food and drink. Guests were treated to delicious Homeboy tacos and chips, AQUAhydrate water, Churchkey Beer, Groundwork Coffee, Electric Sky wine, Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine, Red Bull, and RESQwater.

When guests weren’t hitting the bar or playing Mad Max, they were dancing to tunes supplied by D/A/D and getting their pictured snapped at the photo booth.

Check out our pictures of the night below, and keep your eyes peeled for the next DTS event.
