July is shaping up to be a busy month for Pavement, with their appearance at Mosswood Meltdown and handful of shows up the coast giving way to a tight week of Midwest dates. Today we learned that they’ll also be playing Philadelphia’s annual Make the World Better Concert Weekend on one of their few days off, headlining the first day of the event on July 24 with Kurt Vile & the Violators set to play the following evening. Ratboys are also slated to play on Friday, and They Are Gutting a Body of Water and Twisted Teens will take the stage on Saturday.

Per their website, the MTWB Foundation’s community-oriented vision is focused on “connect[ing] people and inspir[ing] stewardship through public space revitalization projects.” Learn more here, and find tickets and more info on the concert here.
