Britpop revivalists Pleasure Pill returned last week with the news that their new EP Alive is set to be released at the end of the month, with lead single “Feel Alive” introducing the four-song collection with its soaring riffs and Gallagher-esque vocal delivery from frontman Jonah Paz. The goal for the follow-up to last summer’s Hang a Star LP was to further explore the band’s set of ’90s alt-rock influences, enhancing the stadium-ready melodies and the psychedelic embellishments that swirl around them. “Feel Alive” does just that while also lyrically looking back fondly on a certain youthful vigor that comes through in the music. “It’s a song about being young and having a lust for life—celebrating the good times the day could never bring,” shared Paz.

Today the band is unveiling a Finley Louch–directed music video for the track, which once again leans into Pleasure Pill’s rock-and-roll anachronisms. Check out the clip below, and pre-order the EP here via Quiet Panic.
