As in ages past, making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got. Good thing there’s Mild High Club, Alexander Brettin’s cotton-mouthed recording project, to help you get by. Brettin will release his debut on Peanut Butter Wolf’s Circle Star Records next week, but today he’s given us a video for “Undeniable,” the album’s lead single. Just as Brettin’s music uses the natural distortion of late-seventies technology to re-contextualize his very modern pop music, the “Undeniable” video finds Brettin tending bar in a Cheers-like saloon, where at least one unlikely couple find love via Tinder.
Mild High Club’s Timeline is out September 18 on Circle Star.
